[solved] phx logic isn't working

I have a web site with two main folders (one for each language) and a phx call to display something according to the language. the doc id for the French section is 2 and 28 for the English section. But whatever section I’m in the English is always displayed. Is there something wrong with my call ?

[+phx:if=`[!UltimateParent!]`:is=`2`:then=`French`:else=`English`+]

Am no expert, but just wondering, in your code, what is `French` and `English`? Are they the folders 2 and 28 respectively? I am just wondering if PHx can read document names like that? Maybe that’s the problem...but hey, then again, am no expert... someone will clarify this am sure....


edit: if French and English were chunks, you could then have something like:

Right now I’m just trying to print out the word French or English according to the UltimateParent, ultimately I will replace them with chunks as per your example.

Uh...someone had a similar issue here http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,7522.msg154579.html#msg154579 The solution was to call UltimateParent cached like so [[UltimateParent]]
