    Okay, so trying to install 0.9.1 right now, and getting this as an error:

    « MODx Parse Error »
    MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
    « PHP Parse Error »

    PHP error debug
    Error: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user ’neolodge_siteuse’@’localhost’ (using password: YES)
    Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
    File: /home/neolodge/public_html/dev/manager/includes/extenders/dbapi.mysql.class.inc.php
    Line: 48
    Line 48 source: if(!$this->conn = ($persist ? mysql_pconnect($host, $uid, $pwd):mysql_connect($host, $uid, $pwd))) {

    Parser timing
    MySQL: 0.0000 s s (0 Requests)
    PHP: 0.0444 s s
    Total: 0.0444 s s

    I don’t get why it says that access is denied. I did the test connect thing when installing and it worked then.

    Server info:
    PHP: 4.4.1
    MySQL: 4.1.14-standard
    OS: Linux. CentOS I think. Most recent stable, not quite usre.

      Have you tried loging in to your mysql database yet? It might be the installer is not detecting the connection right. But if you’re able to login to your mysql db admin with that password, and it has enough permission to modify the table, I believe it’s not suppose to be a problem to install MODx.
