[solved] MoDx Install - but blank MANAGER page

Hi!

I’m trying to get Modx to run on an old I mac under Mac os X.3.9 (It seems to run other cms products ok)

I’m using Apache/1.3.33
PHP Version 5.0.4
Mysql Version 5.0.18-standard

It seems to install ok I can get the front page, it builds a number of databases
but when I go to the MANAGER section and log in I get a blank page.

If i look at my apache errl log I find this

"PHP Fatal error:  Class ’DBAPI’ not found in /Library/WebServer/Documents/MANAGER/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php on line 43"

Any idea whats going on or what might clean this up?

Looks like your missing some files! Try extracting MODx again.

Downloaded again this time when running the install script errors were reported!
a simple chmod 777 (name of offending directory / file ) sorted this

Wonder why it didn’t error on install the 1 st time?
