How can I bind/synch the unpub_date to a date TV?

Hello!

I have a website with some events (about 200). These events are fed into MODx by different users via the manager.

The events have a start date TV and an end date TV. Now I want the events to show up in my website only if the date is in the future. For some reasons it looks like using the unpub_date instead of an additional end date would be best for my needs.

Can I transport the unpub_date input field to the general tab? That would be the easiest for me. But I have found no way to do that. Or can I snychronise my own end date TV (wich is of type date) with the unpub_date? My naive try to do so ended up in "nothing happens", exactly as the documentation reads ("works only with text input boxes").

I’m using ManagerManager 0.3.8 and Evolution 1.0.3.

but you can also move TVs with: mm_moveFields
