Getting MM to work (hiding link attributes)

I have installed MM 0.3.5 on my modx 1.0 site, but it does’nt work.
I have tried reinstalling, and I am following the install doc very carefully.

Everything appears fine, but when I apply the following rule, the link attributes still appear:
mm_hideFields(’link_attributes’);

I have tried with a chunk defined in the plugin and by altering the mm_rules.inc.php, but nothing seems to work.

Anybody able to get me kickstarted?
