Is it possible to sync two or more date fields with ManagerManager or some other way? I want to synchonise a TV date field and the unpublish date.
Any help much appreciated
Havent tried a date field but should be doable with managermanager mm_synch_fields!
Yeah, that’s what I was hoping but it doesn’t seem to work. The documentation does say that it only works with text fields.
hmm... Maybe hide the tv with a default value of [*unpub_date*] and just use the unpub field?
ah, now there’s an idea but I haven’t got this to work for me yet. It just doesn’t seem to want to take on that value. Can you enter a document variable tag directly into the default value field for a TV?
If that of some reason doesn’t work, try getfield snippet. But that should work as default value. Though you might need
to use Input Type: Date - add the tv to content (to see the output) and play with the settings until it looks the same way as unpub_date...
