I tried to back up the content from the Manager: Tools > Back Up
Then the error happened in the localhost side:

just FYI, &eadbg comes from "edit area" plug in.
Runs well after I deleted the plug in.
I guess this topic should be moved to the related plug in’s board, so the author will notice this.
thx.

How do you reproduce this error?
I have EditArea installed and have no problem performing database backups.
sorry, i didn’t make my self clear.
The error didn’t came out when I produced the export.
It came out when I imported it to my back-up site in my own PC.
PS: I used Navicat to run the import.

This should be considered either a MODx core backup export bug or a Navicat import bug/incompatibility, this is not an EditArea plugin bug. Plugin creators cannot be responsible for third party database tools chocking on perfectly good php code in the database.
You are absolutely right.
It was Navicat problem.
I tried to make the most conventional back-up: phpmyadmin export -> import through cmd shell, it worked.
Then i tried again with the same sql file but with Navicat, the problem still occured.
So, thx for your discussion. It solved this issue.
Cheers.
