noob need template setup help

hi guys..

i’m new here so plz go easy..

i would like some help with using bluemarineetemplate on my site..
i’ve managed to setup modx on my site without problems.. but the rest is an enigma..
i don’t understand the install.txt cos i don’t know what snippet and chunk is..

thx..

The Designer’s Guide would probably help. I’d suggest going through all the basic documentation, actually: http://modxcms.com/documentation
