Would any one know why my Site Url [(siteurl)] changed?

I own site-a.com and site-b.com. I went to site-a.com and all the links started showing up as site-b.com/blah.html. I finally cleared the cache in MODx, as a last ditch effort to fix it, and now the links show up as site-a.com/blah.html again.

I don’t think I changed anything in MODx or cPanel.

My site is working again, but I just want to know why this happened and how to prevent it.

searches I tried: site url wrong, site url changed, site url changed parked domain, [(siteurl)]
You may or may not want to use the code I write. It's probably all against the syntax rules of php and MODx. smiley

    • Does siteB point to siteA, so if somebody did put http://siteB in their browser (or maybe got the link from Google) it would open your site? Maybe you need to do some rewrite rules in your .htaccess file similar to the ones for www. or no www.

Yeah, site-b does point to site-a. But I am just wondering why the links on site-a.com would show up as site-b.com/blah.html.

I just added a redirect in cPanel so site-b go to site-a instead. But that still doesn’t tell me why it happened in the first place. It didn’t do anything like that for a year, but then all of a sudden.

(As you can tell by all my questions, my forum name doesn’t represent what I think of myself, just the company I work for.)
