A site I built in MODx for a client has been working perfectly fine for several months. Yesterday we noticed that whenever we click the ’Save’ button after making any changes to a document in MODx Manager Editor, the pop-up window asking "Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page? etc." would come up, as if we never clicked on Save at all. If you click ’Cancel’ in this pop-up and then save again, it works fine...

At the same time, in TinyMCE the customised Styles drop down list no longer works, i.e. any applied styles are not saved on exiting the editor. Format changes and all other styling is saved, just not those coming from the Styles drop-down list.

Could these issues be related? Thanks.

I had this too a couple of months back on a certain site. It was an IE-only problem so I forced the client to use Firefox, which they use for everything now, because it’s so fast smiley

Anyway, this is no fix, but I’ll follow the thread to see if someone else fixed this somehow...

        Thanks for your reply, Nomark.

Strangely enough, the double-save issue seems to have sorted itself out miraculously .... have been using Firefox all along, so couldn’t have been IE-related. Don’t know what made it disappear again but I am happy we’re back to normal on that front!

Unfortunately, I still have the Style-list issue. But have posted about that in the RTE forum as well, so hopefuly I’ll get help there.
