Hi, when we use Manager it takes a loooong time to load images, to change information, to do nearly everything.
I’ve changed the permission on the manager folder to RWX (777), so that shouldn’t be a problem anymore...
It makes everything very cumbersome to make changes.
Does it naturally run slow, or is there a way to fix that?

What version of MODx are you using? What about the Browser? Server environment?
MODx Evolution’s manager is very fast! Faster than 0.9.x

We are using Firefox (a few different versions), on 3 Macs 10.6, 10.5, and 10.4, and the Modx is version I am not sure. It’s fairly recent as I installed it mid-July perhaps. How do I find out the version I am running?
Can I install the latest version without over-riding what I’ve done so far?

I’m glad to hear that it does run fast as it is quite slow and we are all wondering what to do. I end up hand-coding all the image links.
BUT we are running on an IIS server ... don’t know if that has something to do with it ....
