    is it posible to disable access to the Document settings when a user edits a document?

      I believe at this point, simply unpublishing the document would accomplish this effect. For the most part, folks don’t necessarily mind the old being live while the new is being worked on.

      The drawback to using unpublish for this purpose is that any child pages etc would be gone from the menu as well. At least from the menu snippets I am familiar with.

      • I think the parent meant disabling the ability to edit the document’s settings so the editor can only edit the content, not the title, etc. As far as I know, there’s no way to do that.

          hi.

          yep that is what i meant.. not too worry just have to explain to the client not to touch those settings.. the one i was worried about was changing the page settings tab in the document setting
