DocManager doesn't reorder menu items correctly.

For my site, DocManager won’t actually reorder menu items unless each page has 0 as the menu index.

Interresting... I’ll give it a check, and report, I happen to have a french user who can’t re-order his menu item with DocManager and I had no explanation to offer... Anyone else has feedback regarding this issue ?

macandre, just for the sake of clarity, you’re running latest MODx (0.9.6.1p2) ?

I’ll look into it as well, thanks for the report mcandre If it is the menu-index field at fault, then I imagine it will be a simple fix.

That’s correct. I’ve only had MODx running for less than a month.

Same thing is happening for me too - both in doc manager and wayfinder.

What is the MySQL version you are using ?

MySQL 5.0.51, PHP 5.2.5. I’m running XAMPP on Mac OS 10.5. I can’t seem to do any menu sorting at all. Sorting works OK on the live server so my thoughts were it must be something to do with my local environment.
