Hi all,
I’ve played with modx now for a few days and I like it so far.
I would like to extend the backend manager so I can launch my custom management pages. For instance a list of new submitted content so I can review it and easely publish or not publish the content.
I can think of a solution in the front end: Restricting access to the management pages to the manager only.
However, my preference for choice would be the backend.
Is this possible? If so, how?
Thanks for any reply.

True publishing workflow is something that should be coming in the future. You can extend the back end via a module, but I’m not sure it would totally integrate with a new menu item and so on. Would take a fair bit of work.

Yeh, I already thought so. I hoped for a simpel solution.
I think I build it in the front end for now.
A soon as I have the new publishing workflow, I can switch to that.
Tnx.
