This is an auto-generated support/comment thread for Manager Code Highlighter.

Use this forum to post any comments about this addition or any questions you have regarding its use.

    Brief Description:
Manager Code Highlighter mod enhances the manager interface with code highlighting and line numbers for Templates, Chunks, Snippets, Plugins, Documents, and now Files in the file manager.

    Updates:
7/16/06 - added support for files shown in the filemanager. New instalations grab the zip from the repository, current mod users can get just the modified files attached to this post: code_hlter7_07addon.zip

7/09/06 - found a typo which caused a javascript error in the document highlighter. I have attached the fixed file here for those that have already downloaded the zip.

Wow Breezer, what a great contribution!

      A couple of documentation errors:

There is one modified file which is not listed - manager/actions/static/document_data.static.action.php.

Also "mutate_plugins.dynamic.action.php" and "mutate_htmlsnippets.dynamic.action.php" are "mutate_plugin.dynamic.action.php" and "mutate_htmlsnippet.dynamic.action.php" on my installation (I think it’s the latest).

      Thanks very much.

Thanks for the heads up, the zip will be updated in a moment with the documentation changes.

Also the actions/static/ folder was removed as this was a failed attempt which I forgot to remove from the uploaded zip, just delete that folder and also the document.data.static.action.php file inside.

        Glad you like it... grin

I found and fixed a typo which was causing a javascript error on the document highlighter page.

While I was there I added a check for modx tags in the content and if found it uses the custom modx template to highlight the code otherwise it checks for content type and highlights accordingly.

The fix file is attached to the first post in this thread. smiley

          • Has the fix been added to the repository itself?

I have added some new files to the Manager Code Highlighter package, viewing highlighted files in the file manager is now available.

For current mod users, use the seperate zip file which is attached to the first post in this thread.

For new installs the zip file available from the repository is current and includes all files up to now.

For specific changes made to the files, be sure and see the readme file included with each package. wink

IS there likely to be any issues installing this into a 0.9.5?

yes, this is only compatable with 0921 version as there are many code base changes in the 095 series.
