Maybe I didn’t take all the appropriate precautions to use the email address this way? I did add "&usernameField=`email`" to my register call. It appears to be working in all aspects.

We’ve also been having some weird issues with ChangePassword, I believe it’s a bug, have logged a new issue on bugs.modx.com

FYI, third post down, I copied his example and it worked. I no longer have that popup. I haven’t had a chance to see what the difference is, but it at least works.

Scratch that, it only worked once. The popup is back.

The compleate tutorial is gone... maybe because of the forum migration?

Hi there, I think tutorial fell off during migration.

I'm in process of updating it anyway, as I'm now using Revo 2.1.3 and latest Login snippet 1.6.5. Will hopefully get something up in next few days.

I've uploaded the tutorial which has been amended for Revo 2.1.3 and Login 1.7.0, it is available both at the start of this thread and here!

UPDATE 30 Sep 2011 - I've temporarily removed tutorial as there is a bug with the &postHooks notify admin email settings. As soon as this has been recitified, I will amend accordingly and reload. Everything works with Login version 1.6.5 though.

UPDATE 13 Oct 2011 - Tutorial uploaded, bug has been fixed and &postHooks does work. Revo 2.1 + is required for latest version of Login to work correctly. [ed. note: boomerang last edited this post 14 years, 11 months ago.]
