      Hemm... that’s so true.
I tried to put @INHERIT as a default value, and in the root document, I put @DOCUMENT 9. It doesn’t seems to be inhereited through out the child documents.

But it’s great though, I can use another approach to contain my side content, instead of using another documents.

      Thanks for this great tips

Question : why don’t you use the MetaTagsExtra snippet ?
It’s a recent snippet, that’s why I mention it smiley

Returns HTML for document dependant meta tags: Charset, Generator, Keywords, Description, Abstract, Author, Copyright, Robots, Googlebot, Cache-Control, Pragma, Expires and Last Modified

I need to have the folloing tags that are also not in that snippet: MSSmartTagsPreventParsing (to prefend external windows software from creating smarttags on jour site)

            and this one: <META HTTP-EQUIV="imagetoolbar" CONTENT="no">
so that xp (IE) does not display the image tools when you hover an image.

I could ofcource hard code them in the template but hey its MODx

              MSSmartTagsPreventParsing ? <META HTTP-EQUIV="imagetoolbar" CONTENT="no"> ?

If you want these MS features on some pages but not others, I can see that the meta tags system is worthwhile, but if you want them disabling on all pages then hard coding them in the template is by far the best thing to do.
No, I don&#39;t know what OpenGeek&#39;s saying half the time either.
