We have set up the weblogin snippet and gone through the details to add users and user groups, but cannot get it to work.
The page it is used on is www.adventurefirstaid.co.uk/index.php?id=40
When the user name of ali and password lazymouse is entered, the user is not directed to the right page (they stay on the same page)
Also, when clicking ’forgot password’ and entering the email address, the user doesn’t receive an email.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Did you make the snippet call uncached? [!WebLogin...!]

I was just about to start a new thread, when I realised that I have what looks like the same problem as this. I have the snippet call
[!WebLogin? &tpl=`WebLoginTpl` &loginhomeid=`58` &logouthomeid=`23`!]
but successful login takes me to document number 1. Our site start page is set up as page 23. We’re using modx 0.9.6.2 (0.9.6.1 with security patch applied) and Weblogin 1.0. Does anyone know what might be going wrong?
Thanks,
Paul
Check your configuration, document 1 is probably set as your "not found" document, as well as other defaults.

Thanks for the suggestion. My Site start, Error page, Unauthorised page and Site unavailable pages are all set to 23. Unless there is another parameter that sets another page that might influence the weblogin plugin, that’s not the problem. I have cleared the cache, so I don’t think it’s a cache issue.

This issue is solved... at least in my case. I don’t know about the original poster. Sottwell was correct. I was a configuration issue. I found that it’s also possible to set the login page on a per webuser basis, from security->web users->(particular user)->User tab->Login Home Page. I didn’t know about this before... at least if I did know about it, I had forgotten. This setting appears to override any others. Mine had got set to 1 at some time in the past.
