Hiding unauthorized pages when logged out.

Hello. I’d like to be able to hide protected documents when logged out, so you don’t even know they exist if you’re just a visitor. How should I do that?

Use the Security menu options. Create web user groups and resource (document) groups and connect them in Security -> Web Permissions. Then create web users and assign them to the web user groups you created. Assign resources to the resource groups you created. Now only users that are logged in can see the pages assigned to the resource groups.

If you want pages that only logged-in Manager users can see, just leave them unpublished, since manager users can see unpublished pages. The unpublished pages won’t show up on the regular menus, though, so you’d need to create a special menu for managers (menu items can be added to the QuickManager menu quite easily).
