If these characters are truly forbidden, then javascript or any other client side processing will not help. You need to check on the server side (thats the bit you can control).

The previous version of WebLoginPE had a section for removing banned chars but i can’t see that in 1.3.1
(To WebLoginPE developers) I think that it should be a parameter of snippet, no?
