moderate new users

Hey all,

I’m wondering how to moderate new users attempting to register through webloginPE. I thought I had it if I disabled ’activate’ and ’activated’ but it’s still sending a confirmation email to the registering email address with a password.



Basically I want the manger/moderator to get notices and "throw the final switch" to make someone a valid member. Is that possible?

I will go the route of having a ’pending’ web group. That seems best so the moderator doesn’t have to enter information in for the user... just check the right box!

I’m doing this too, but the problem is that the user is notified straight away of their new login details, even though they’re still only in the Pending User group.

I wish there was some way of withholding this email until the user is assigned to the appropriate group.

Another (semi-related) issue I’m having with this, is that my users can sign up and give their ’Carer ID’, which after being manually verified, would mean that they should be assigned to the Carer User group. However, I cannot see this field from within the Manager area at all when editing a Web User, to even be able to verify it.

Is there any way I can do this??
