my client is adding ans managing his distribution contacts via WebLoginPE.
Say, he has some documents (e.g. downloads) which only one client should have access to - would it be possible (the documents created before via manager) to put the id’s of these documents in the manage profile form - into some custom field - and in this way assign this client to only these specified docs?
It would be easier than now - now he has to create a web user group for this web user, a document group for his docs and make the relations between them. Would be a great shortcut.
Maybe it’s not possible, or I’m thinking to complicated (probably)?? Thanks everybody!
I am not totally sure what your are doing but it should not be any more complicated then assigning approval of an ID to certain webgroups.
Meaning that when a person registers they are automatically put into a certain webgroup that you designate through the WLPE call. Then set the Access permissions for the document.

to make clear the aim: I’m looking for a faster way to assign certain docs exclusively to a certain web user, by a web user admin role.
When the client (web user admin) is adding a new distributor (web user) via WebloginPE (1st step) there is no webgroup existing for this user yet. So the client next has to login to the backend / manager and add a special webgroup for this distributor (2nd step), add a special docgroup for him (3rd step), set docgroup-webgroup relations (4th step) and finally edit the distributor web user (5th step).
For a client this is a rather complicated process and I hope to get a shortcut for him, or find a solution that I’m overseeing in the moment. Of course I could automate the whole process with individual programming cookie settings and check or something like that ....
