Editing default forms?

for some reason when I edit files in /Default Forms/ I don’t see the changes in the actual forms.
I have the call [!WebLoginPE? &type=`simple`!] inside a sidebar chunk and I checked it on a non-cacheable page.
what am I doing wrong?

don’t know why, but i tried changing the actual files in the directory instead of creating alternative Tpl chunk
