Login not workin in 2 templates

Hi all!
I have 2 templates on my site (one for index and one for subpages), and on both login area in header.

When I try to add some news (this doc is on template2) I must login from my subpage in order to get logged in... and when I login from index it does’t recognize me at subpages.... Hope you understand

Why is that and could it be fixed somehow?

Sounds the "WLPE doesn’t use X template if more than one call exists" bug is causing this, from what I can gather.

Dunno if it can be fixed, though (at least before 1.4.x).
