Admin verification of new users?

Is there any way to pass new user details to an admin user for manual verification before account creation?

For instance, with registration type ’’verify":

- User requests account
- Email sent to admin for verification
- If verified, login details sent to user

?

Or is the best solution in this case to hide registration from users and have an admin register users manually, then pass details to new user (there won’t be more than around 30 users at any time)?

If you can alter the e-mail sent for user verification, you could redirect it to your own e-mail address, and then change the text on the "Sucess" page to say that the admin will verify the account.
