• Hello... i’m having some problems with my template structure and longinpe

Basically i am using a side login bar and it’s working fine. What i want to do is allow the user to edit their profile but in the main area of the website so it’s a larger area to edit in.

I can get the profile page to load inside but when you click save it’s accepting the changes and reloads the profile page but this time it’s loading both in the side login area and the main content area.

    Could someone help please?

I created a edit profile doc with the id number of 2. I put this code in this document

    [!WebLoginPE? &type=`profile` &profileHomeID=`2`!]

I stuck this line in under the logtout button as i couldn’t get the profile button to work either.

    edit profile

    Thanks!

        Hi,

        Try this :
        [!WebLoginPE? &type=`profile` &profileHomeId=`2`!]
Sorry for my english. I'm french... My dictionary is near me, but it's only a dictionary !
        • Ok if you take a look at this image perhaps you could help me....

I have most of the login screens etc sorted but the edit profile is not working so well.

When i click save profile, it accepts my changes but loads the edit screen in to my side bar.

I’m using the default save button for WLPE

          Save

IS there a way i can make it load in to my main contect area after the edits are done?

          • Isn’t there a parameter to prevent the snippet from doing profile editing? You could put that in your sidebar call, and have the call in the main content handle the profile editing.

The "two" errors is a known bug in v1.3.x, IIRC. I think that’s something Scotty will be fixing in a later version.

Best thing I could say is to edit the profile on a page instead of the navigation for the time being.
