Install Template/Theme/Skin

Hello,

I must be overlooking the obvious. How do I install a new skin in MODx? I’ve installed them in Xoops, Drupal, Metadot, etc. Please enlighten me with documentation or helpful tips.

1) Create a new template in the manager, it’ll be a blank page.

2) Copy your code into this new template and hit the save button. You’ll likely want to replace menus with [[DropMenu...]] calls and the content area with the [*content*]. Maybe add a TV or too as well.

3) Copy any images/css/js/etc. to the relevant pages in the assest folder (or really whereever you feel like), making sure the css file references the path appropriately as required.
