Revo most complicated permissions system

I’ll just add my +1 that the presentation of permissions is really mind-blowingly complicated and I’d love to see the manager optimized for mainstream use (i.e. only MILDLY complex). I understand that changing the core may not be necessary, but the UI/UX of getting a fist full of permissions right in the face is a daunting proposition. In 4 years of development, I have only developed one site that needed permissions that Evo couldn’t handle.

I’ve been mentally working on a permissions wizard for Revo. It’s taking me a long time just to get a handle on how to approach the problem, but I’m coming to think a reasonable first iteration would be to present something similar to the Evo permissions system for people who don’t need anything more complex.

It won’t be available any time soon.
