    Hi!

I have never used Web Login before and am not sure if this is what I am looking for...

I a building a website for a sailing club and we want to add functionality that allows members without boats to register and then whenever they are available to go sailing, they simply ’log in’ and complete a form that will send an email to a mailing list of boat owners that may require crew that day. Similarly, boat owners can register and login to send emails to registered sailors if they need crew for a trip.

The registration process needs to capture name, email address, telephone number and boat classification. (boat owners generally have just one type of boat but sailors may be available to sail on one or more types).

The point of having a registration process is that is should prevent users from having to enter their contact details every time they send a new form because they’re available to sail that day. The more work users have in using this functionality, the more likely it is that it will not be picked up.

I did come up with a non-registration solution to this process but it involved a good bit of back-office admin work and we would prefer to install a system that is as user-friendly as possible, makes the process very simple for the end-user and therefore entices them to use this functionality as it would be a first for any of the regional sailing clubs.

I would really appreciate any advice, thoughts or tips for any MODx expert smiley!!

    Thanks!
