    Hi guys.

I am stuck with this issue here.

I used the modx sample page to test out some permission scenarios.

My goal: I want to restrict the "blog tree" only for registered users.

    What I do:

    1. I create a resource group called "bloggroup". I assign the Resource "blog" to the resource group.

    2. I create a user called "alf".

    3. Then I go to access controls and add "alf" to the group "registered users"

    4. now I edit the "registered users" group.
4a. On the context permissions tab I create an entry for the context "web" with the minimal rights of "member - 9999" and the access rights "Load only".
4b. on the "resource-group-access" tab I pick the resource group "bloggroup", minimal rights "member - 9999" and access rights "Resource" on the context "web".

    That’s it.

When I login with the user "alf" to my understanding the entry "blog" should now display, but it remains hidden like for all the unregistered users.

I think there is only a tiny thing I do wrong. But I can’t find it out.

I would appreciate any help or hints to solve my problem.

    Thank you so much.

i still didn’t find out what the problem was.

but when I move the page from localhost (windows 7, xampp2) to my webserver (unix)

      it works perfect.

I think there might be an issuee with windows and the Login plugin.
