Maybe I didn’t use the correct keywords, but I didn’t find the answer to the following question on this site with a search. I apologize if it has already been covered.

I would like to add the ability for a registered visitor to a site (an employee of that web site’s company) to log in and, on authentication, be redirected to a page only he/she can see. That person would then be able to view their particular week’s work schedule but not be able to view another employee’s schedule.

How does one go about doing that?

I’m a newbie to ModX. Thank you in advance.

    Using ModX Revolution 2.0.4-pl2
Downloaded and installed Login, version 1.5.0
Followed step-by-step instructions on this page: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Making+Member-Only+Pages
    PHP 5 installed on server

Hi waizen, Do you currently have a login system? Modx Revolution comes with a fantastic login package aptly named "Login". With this package it has a login, customer registration, customer profile update, password change, registration approval email, redirection upon form submission and many more customizable functions.

You can download the package by logging into your modx back end and going to System->Package Management-> download extras and typing "login" into the search. download it and follow the install instructions.

You can find some documentation on the login package here -> http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login
I really recommend reading as much of the documentation as possible before implementing it. Even doing that I had some stumbling blocks.

      Hope this helps wink
