access permissions keep reseting

I am using MODx 2.0.2-pl on a project, have made some changes to some of the core code and therefore don’t want to upgrade but wondered if anyone has experienced this.

I have set up 2 resource groups so that certain pages show up in a Wayfinder call once logged in depending on which group a user is assigned to. This all works fine except when my client views the page the menu disappears, I then have to go into the access permissions for the main page resave, flush permissions and I can see the menu again but then my client views and it breaks again? Don’t really know what to do?

Don’t cache the Wayfinder call. If the menu has to be dynamic depending on who is viewing it, the results that get cached will depend on who views it first.
