I think this is a bug but I’m not sure how to go about posting in JIRA, so thought I’d raise it here.

I’m using Revolution 2.0.3pl. When I right click on a User Group (with no users in it) and go to remove it, nothing happens, it just stays there, so I am unable to remove it. I’ve been playing a bit with the best way to set up my users, so created some groups that I didn’t actually need and I’d like to get rid of them. Probably a simple javascript type error for someone to fix?

    Thanks
    Jo.

I have no problems doing this. Do you get any JS errors in the JS console? Any errors in core/cache/error.log?

I’ve tried a number of times and always get the same result, for top level and child user groups.

The JS Error Console says :
Uncaught TypeError: Object [Tree modx-tree-usergroup] has no method ’indexOf’: /manager/assets/ext3/adapter/ext/ext-base.js:7.

It also has this one which may not be relevant :
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found): /manager/assets/modext/util/filetree/img/icons/user2_16.png

There aren’t any entries in the error log for today.

        Does that help?

Just tried doing this in a different Revo 2.0.3 site and it does work there. Maybe something went wrong when I upgraded the problem site from 2.0.0 to 2.0.3? How would I go about finding this out?

            Testing with MODx Revolution 2.0.4-pl2.

Problem appears when I use chrome 7.0.517.41 on linux.

Removing groups works when I do the same action in firefox 3.6.12 on linux.

This has been fixed in 2.0.5.
