I am using the latest WebLoginPE in a Modx 1.0.2 site for users to register to a members only section. The users can sign up with no problem, but I am not receiving a notification email and the user is not being assigned to the members user group so they cannot get in until I assign their profile to the user group.

The code that I have on an uncached page is the following:
    [!WebLoginPE? &type=`register` &notify=`[email protected]` &regSuccessId=`21` &regSuccessPause=`3` &groups=`members` !]

Am I missing something or is their a permissions setting that I have overlooked. On a side note (in regards to &notify), I have an eForm that I am using for the contact page and I am receiving that.

Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Lee

I have searched and still have not found the answer. What are some reasons why "&groups" and "&notify" wouldn’t work?

      Again...any help is appreciated.

Do you have a valid email address set up for emails in your Configuration tab? It’s got to be a valid "from" address as far as the server that your installation is on is concerned. I had a situation where I was able to get messages from a contact form but not via user registration. The problem was traced back to that, in my case.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, I have a valid email on the server with the same domain as the site. It sends the registered user a confirmation email, but does not send a notification to the site administrator.

Any other suggestions are welcome as I continue to search this issue.

          Thanks!

Unfortunately, I do not remember if this was resolved or not and I do not remember which project. Sorry.

Thanks any way! It notifies for one email address and not the other. The other email address is hosted by another company.
