sort user listing on a custom field

I’m using webloginpe to maintain a list of club members accessing the site. For the club admin people I’d like to present a sorted list of users, this could be sorted on surname, or sorted on age, or sorted on membership number etc.

Is there a way to sort the user list in webloginpe?

Bad form I know to reply to my own post - but all else failed so I read the documentation and found the &usersList parameter

A parameter for controlling the list(s) of users in a WebLoginPE `users` page (formerly "View all users"). This allows you to display multiple lists of your web users (all on the same page) filtered by certain values, sorted in the order of a certain field in ascending or descending format. It is really quite flexible.

So I’ll be giving this a try tonight.
