Right, so I’ve managed to add the WebLogin snippet, and have a username and password which can be used to login, and then download any of my files listed on a specific page using the FileDownload snippet. When the user isn’t logged in, they can’t download files. Thats all groovy.
Then I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be better to block all users except for some specific ones from the file download page. So, I created a Web User Group (added a user to it), then a Resource Group (and added the download page to it), linked the two together, and hey presto! When I type the download page URL into the address bar, a login screen appears. The only thing is, I don’t know what Username and Password to enter here?! The username and password I have set up and put into the usergroup doesn’t work, and neither does the administrator login.
I’m stuck!

The username and password for the user you created and added to the user group.

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression that the username and password that I set up for the user group member would be the one I should use, but I can assure you, its not working. Is there some way that maybe I haven’t set up the user group, or the user, properly?
I’ve attached a few pictures to show what I’ve done.
Image 1 shows the page that I want to have limited access to, and shows that I have added it to the ’downloads’ group.
Image 2 shows that I have made a user group called ’admin’, and a resource group called ’downloads’, and have linked these two together.
Image 3 shows that the only web user I have set up has been allocated to the ’admin’ user group.
Is there anything else I should be doing?
