I have a Manager User assigned a Role, Site admin, with almost full access, i.e. lots of boxes checked, please see image for the few exceptions. (It is not the default Administrator)
After (?) upgrading to Evo 1.0.2 the Resource editing for this User has started to act strange. I get an "error message": ’Because the Web User Groups and Manager User Groups conflict for your Role, this Resource will be public. Contact a site administrator for further help.’
The editing options for most Resources (pages) are now severely hampered, please see images. Why is that?
I have tried hard to figure this out, and thought I had understood the Manager/Web User/Role/Permission separation logic.
There are a few Resource Groups but they are only linked to Web Users. There are no Manager User Groups at all so Manager Users should not be affected.

Do you have the ManagerManager plugin enabled, with the default demo ManagerManager configuration chunk? That may be what is causing the problem.
Thanks a lot, Susan. That was it. Disabling the plugin made resources editable again. The error message is however still there.
So what if I want to use the ManagerManager plugin? Can I change anything in the demo config chunk?
What is the logic behind the conflict? You are supposed to be able to go about without any Manager User Groups, right?

The demo config chunk is just that, part of the demo site installation. Remove it, or just empty it if you want to have your own managermanager configuration.
