Prior to discovering ModX I’ve been creating my site from scratch. After playing around in ModX I want to switch everything over to it. My first problem I’m running into is that most the scripts I’ve written determine what user is signed-in and pull data according to that user. So for example this would display the username that is logged-in:

$username = $_SESSION['username'];
echo $username;
?>
Is there a variable equivalent to "$_SESSION[’username’]" in ModX that I can call to tell me which user is logged-in?
