Roles other than Admin removes resource content area after saving

Hi,

I’m nearly finished with a site, but am having trouble now I’m trying to setup other manager users with restricted access.

I am finding that unless I set a manager users role as ’Administrator’, when they edit a resource and save, the resource content editor and any custom TVs disappear, as does the little icon next to the resource in the doc tree. The same happens if I create a new role and tick all the boxes. To get it back to normal I have to change the template, and then change it back to what it originally was.

I’m running ManagerManager, but I don’t think there is a conflict as it still happens when disabled. I’m running Evo 1.0.1. This is a real pain as obviously I don’t want the client to have Admin access to the site.

Has anyone had this problem before?

I’ve tried a clean install on 1.0.2 on MAMP and everything seems to behave ok, and I can create new users, assign ’Editor’ or ’Publisher’ roles, and they can edit and save documents without anything weird happening.

I’ve tried the same on a clean install of 1.0.1 and still have the same problem though. This is the first time I’ve used Evo, am I missing something?

no, it was a bug related to Evo 1.0.1. there’s a patch for that somewhere...but rather upgrade to 1.0.2
