Hi,
I run a school site, 200+ pages. We recently decided that we want extra pages that can be managed by 1 extra manager user per page and each page is going to be viewed by a web user (per page).
I created a mug_page, a manager user group and added a new manager user (Editor) to this group.
I created a mdg_page, a manager document group and added the document to this group.
Result: I can login as new manager user and edit this page and view the page on the front-end.
Next web users.
I created a wug_page, a web user group and added a new web user to this group.
I created a wdg_page, a web document group and added the document to this group.
Result: If logged into the manager as the new manager, I can’t see the page anymore in the front-end! I can login as web user and see the page in the front-end.
Any ideas why this happens? I’m running on 0.9.6.2.
Related, but not the same: the page above is buried deep into the menu structure of the site. If I dont set "protected pages" to on, my manager user will never see the page in the tree. If I do set "protected pages" to on, my manager user will never find the page in the tree, because it’s buried deep. I guess there’s no in between way of showing only documents to which the user has edit rights to?
Thanks.
