    Hi all.
Has anybody tried using xwisdom’s subdomain plugin with the quickeditor?

    Problem is:
http://subdomain.example.com/blah.html does not generate QuickEdit links. Remove the subdomain from the url and load http://example.com/blah.html, and it shows up just fine.

The really strange thing is: It works fine both ways in Internet Explorer.

Now, I know that everybody’s first thought is, "Oh, it’s a stylesheet problem." It’s not. QuickEdit does not even render at all with the subdomain in the URL (nothing in the page code) in Firefox, Opera, K-Meleon, etc.

Can somebody with subdomains confirm this? output.class.inc.php checks if the manager is logged in using $_SESSION[’mgrValidated’], so my thought is that the good browsers are counting subdomain.example.com as a different session than example.com... Maybe? If that’s the case, anybody have any ideas on how to make this work?

    Thanks! -Brett

      Hi,

You can use your subdomain.example.com to login. Basically the login information is stored based on domain name. So subdomain.domain.com is different with domain.com.

Use subdomain.domain.com/manager, and login to the system, after that you can now visit the site with quickedit enabled on subdomain.domain.com.
