Aha!
This happens when I’m logged in to the manager (patched custom 0963 version)
and getting javascript errors when editing documents, which I also edit front-end with NewsManager/Editor!
It’s seems as it has to do with the REMOVE DATE button for publish/un-publish date field pickers (when logged in
without SSL encryption) and by just loading these document as logged in with SSL encryption:
Message: Syntax error
URI: https://website-url.com/manager/://0
Without SSL on IE8 -no 404’s:
Message:
’document.getElementById(...)’ is null or not an object
-----------------------------
Conclusion
-
The 404 plugin and SSL Encryption didn’t work together
OK,
http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=969932 !!
So in
manager/media/script/mootools/mootools.js change:
C=(window.location.protocol=="https:")?"://0":"javascript:void(0)";
to this:
C=(window.location.protocol=="https:")?"//:":"javascript:void(0)";
And in
Doc Finder Module 1.5.2
assets/modules/docfinder/js/mootools-1.11.js

About the other javascript error inside
Manager I had, it was with a in the pub date field caused by NewsEditor.
- I removed "
" in the dateformat paramter - so just use:
// get date format
$dateformat = isset($dateformat) ? $dateformat : '%d-%m-%Y %H:%M:%S';
Now I’m at peace again...
