login manager user

hellow,

i want to create a page for manager users (for example: http://www.mydomain.com/controlpanel.html)

in this page i want to place the login form for managers and then go to the back-end of the site (manager)

so it must be the ’same’ loginform as when you go to http://www.mydomain.com/manager

i know there is ManagerLogin, but their isn’t captcha possible and i would like to have captcha

can anyone help me

and another question: is it possible to change the file ’manager’ in another name, without having problems for my site?

i think i figured it out

thanks to this http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=37385.0

but know i only have created a weblink (not shown in the menu) that points to http://www.domain.com/manager

and then it gets the login form for the manager. it is not exactly what i want, but it is enough for me i think.

the other question isn’t solved: can i change the folder-name ’manager’ tot ’whateverwhatiwant’ on the server?

You can in MODx Revolution, but not in Evolution.

I did it once, using a fancy programming editor that allowed me to do a search-and-replace across entire folders. It was not pleasant.

then i’m going to wait for modx revolution

Don’t wait. We really need user feedback on it and it’s fairly solid (it’s running modxcms.com).

but there were problems on shared servers?

and i have only webhosting accounts with shared IP (like the most of the people i think)
