read only container of public subpages

Hi all,

For a client I have made a website with a few containers (news, agenda, etc). The containers themselves contain the ditto calls,
which I do not want the end-users to be able to edit (for the sake of keeping everything working).

Is there a way to set the container to private (or read-only) while beeing able to view/edit the subpages?
