It depends on what you want to do. For simple login/logout, the original WebLogin will do fine.

If you want to do anything else (profiles, etc) then WebLoginPE is your best choice. While the original author is no longer involved in its support or development, it is far from dead, and is being actively developed and supported by others in the community.

that’s what I was worried about. I just tried to get the "redirect user to a specific page when logged in" function working and it didn’t.

I had to go trawling thru the forums to find a fix, which I did, and it now works, but it can be unsettling when little things like this happen.

There are a number of disturbing bugs in WLPE, but it’s in the process of getting its own SVN repository and hopefully the fixes can be committed there. It will be a great snippet if the issues can be ironed out.
