Password protected site - how to?

Hi there,

I wish to password protect my site so that only people with login and password can enter it. Is there an easy way to do this? I have tried searching the Manager, but haven’t found a solution.

Create a web document group and assign the "private" pages to this group. To access the pages create web users and assign them to a user group and assign that group to the private document group. Use the WebLogin or WebLoginPE snippets to handle the log in/out process.

I am affraid it does not help. The page has been assigned to the "private" document group. it is still visible however.

it seems to be that the group is not private. how do I do this?

Be sure you assigned the document to a web user group, not a manager user group. Then clear the site cache.
