I am currently working on a project for a client and of course I jumped on the opportunity to use ModX.
However, one of the requested features was a public forum. I have never had a project before that required me to mash a CMS system with a forum before so I’m in new territory with project and I need bit of help.
The idea is that users can login with the [[Weblogin]] snippet do their thing with ModX then jump over to the forums with the same username/password combination. So we arrive to the big question: Are there any forum "plugins" made for ModX specifically? Or is there a way for me to tie the current usernames/passwords to a new installation of phpBB without everyone having to manage two separate username/login pairs?
Trying to Google for ModX forum plugins consistently landed me here to the actual forums… :-/
