Just got down to finally install and try this one out

I everything goes as expected up to the point where I am editing the manager user I want to create a web user account for : it just doesn’t create it. I tried to create a web user account with the same name and then tick the "Select this option to create/synchronise a web user account when saving." but the password doesn’t get synchronized

I have checked both "OnManagerSaveUser" and "OnUserFormRender".

Maybe things have changed with 0.9.5 (using RC3 rev 2017).

Any idea ?

Sorry for asking, but the title of this plugin is Web2Manager, yet the description says it’s to sync manager users to a web account... meaning you are editing/creating a manager user and then creating a web account by way of this plugin. So, you are creating a manager to web user (Manager2Web).

I’m only asking because I actually need the opposite... a web user to have a manager user account (Web2Manager). You see, when users register on the website (and I want them to initially create their own account), they can then be promoted to a manager user... unless there’s a way they can register on the website on a manager, or at least apply for manager access.

So, anyone know how to sync or promote a web user to a manager?

I am running .95 and have confirmed that it is installed correctly.

I can see the checkbox "Select this option to create/synchronise a web user account when saving" at the bottom of the user I am editing. I check the box and save but it doesn’t keep the box checked and it isn’t syncing the users. I have re-installed the plugin and it does the same.

Ideas what I am doing wrong. I had it working fine in version .92 - but not in .95

Version 0.9.5 handles users differently, and the next version of MODx will drastically change how users are managed, this plugin will likely be obsolete as the Dev team plans to integrate web users and manager users anyway.

Does anyone have working "Manager2Web" synchronization plugin for 0.9.6?
