    Hey Whitefen, thanks for your nice contribution...

    Is it possible if you add your changes into Repository too? in Extras or newer version...

    Thanks.

      Yeah, I was not sure the best way to go about this since it was extension to someone else’s snippet but if that is the proper protocol I will.

      Should I upload it under a new name or as a 1.1 version of MemberCheck?

        Update as a version 1.1 of the exsiting one. I like what you’re doing with this bit of code ... great work! smiley

          Great and thanks!

          I have uploaded version 1.1 to the repository.

          I feel like a major milestone has now passed in my journey of MODxdom grin

            This snippet works great, Whitefen. Love the "default" parameter smiley

              my calls are visible for everyone.
              [[MemberCheck? &groups=`admins` &chunk=`price` &default=`blank`&debug=`true`]]

              My chunk price has a tv that holds the price which is set on each document:

              Any ideas?

                Hello,

                I am setting up a new MODx site. I am using the MemberCheck 1.0 that came with the base install of MODx 0.9.6.2.

                This is the parameters I am using for the snippet: [[MemberCheck? &groups=`Web_user, web_admin` &chunk=`forummenu` &debug=`true`]]

                It works fine in Firefox and Safari but doesn’t block any content in IE 7 and IE 8. Am I missing anything? Any suggestions?

                Thanks in advance, Ian

                  Call it uncached and try it without being logged into the manager. The last bit has caught me on more than one occasion.

                  [!MemberCheck? &groups=`Web_user, web_admin` &chunk=`forummenu` &debug=`true`!]

                      How do I stop MemberCheck redirecting to the homepage/site start?

                      I installed the snippet, and created a "web user group" called "premium".

                      In this there are the "document groups" of "Admin users" (Manager users) and "Registered users".

                      premium has the following links;

                      * premium
                      o Registered users (Remove)
                      o Admin users (Remove)

                      Therefore both registered users and admin users should be able to see whatever MemberCheck returns.

                      My call is on my "premium" only page is;

                      [[MemberCheck? &groups=`premium` &chunk=`chk.yesLoggedIn` &default=`chk.noLoggedOut` &debug=`true`]]

                      Despite all this, the premium page still redirects back to the home page. Even if I am logged out of the manager.

                      How do I prevent it from redirecting?

                      Thanks
