pageLimit fails in GetPage

GetPage is working fine for me except for the pageLimit property which does not work. Infact, every page cretaed seems to hava different number of page links at the bottom. Below is my code:

First, hideContainers can have a value of 1 or 0 — it indicates if containers should be included in the results or not (i.e. those Resources with is_folder column = 1).

Second what are you sorting by? You must ALWAYS sort by a unique key when paging through results. If you do not, the results will be different on every query, even if the limit and offset are the same.

Thank you. I changed &hideContainers &hideContainers=`1` and that simplifies things. I’m not sure what you mean by the sort. I’m sorting by getResourcesTree, a snippet to allow sorting by the tree order, which works great. But the page limit still does not work. It’s not restricting it to 3 page links. Any further thoughts?

I thought getResourcesTree was a snippet that you use in place of getResources, not as the value for the sortby?

No, I don’t think so. See my call above. That is how I sort my resources.

I don’t understand why that would be necessary. You can specify multiple sortby columns in getResources via JSON (see the sortby documentation at http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/getResources#getResources-SelectionProperties). But unless getResourcesTree returns the JSON to specify that sort order, or the list of Resources in a FIELD() db function call, I don’t have a clue what this is supposed to do.
